When you are a couple, you can be guilty of taking your relationship for granted. In those first few months, you are smitten. You spend as much time as possible together and you enjoy lovely dates and getting to know one another. But as time passes, you can be complacent and when you begin living together and taking on commitments like bills, pets, and maybe even children at some point, then your relationship can become less of a priority. But it really shouldn’t, after all, you are a couple and your relationship is worth the effort. Heading away for a holiday can often be the best medicine, and I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of the cities you should consider visiting.
Las Vegas
So it may be popular for bachelor or bachelorette parties, but actually, Las Vegas is definitely the adult’s playground and can be enjoyed as a couple. You have the lavish hotels to enjoy, the casinos open till late, the nightclubs, the rollercoasters, and the amazing sights and sounds. There is something for all and it could just be the fun your relationship needs every once in a while.
Washington DC
Maybe you both enjoy sightseeing and what better places to do it than Washington DC? You could check out the White House, the Capitol building, and the Lincoln Memorial to name a few. There really is a lot to enjoy, and with fabulous bars and restaurants close by the weekend away could be just what you both need to rekindle the romance.
Miami
Perhaps you want a city that really does have it all, and I don’t blame you, so why not consider a trip to Miami? With its Cuban influences, colonial architecture, fabulous beach, and even better bears and restaurants there really is a lot to be offered here. Do one better and rent a boat to see the place from a different perspective. You won’t be disappointed.
New York City
If you love your shopping, want the chance to enjoy a great nightlife, or even just relive your Youth by checking out the locations of Central Perk from friends or Carrie’s apartment from Sex and the City, then New York City is the place to be. Not only could you enjoy the shopping that is on offer, but you could also sightsee some of the iconic sights recognised all over the world, and finally what about tickets to a musical on Broadway to end what could be a fabulous trip as a couple. It is definitely one to consider.
Los Angeles
Finally, perhaps LA is the place to be and it could be the ideal scene to rekindle the romance, after all, many a love story has been filmed in some of the famous studios that you could take a tour around. Perhaps a hike up the Hollywood hills is more your thing, or enjoying a stroll down Rodeo Drive. Whatever it is, make sure you enjoy everything this city has to offer.
