Everyone has their ideal holiday location. Within Asia, there are many countries, all who have their own climate and holidays. But when is the best time to visit these different places?

Visiting Japan?
If you are visiting Japan, the best time to visit is early autumn. Japan can be very hot during the summer but by early autumn the weather is cooler but still warm. When planning a visit to Japan, try to avoid late March and early April as although many people want to see Cherry blossom season, it is more popular with tourists and therefore busier and more expensive.
You should also try to avoid Golden Week, which is the end of April and the beginning of May. This is because there are 4 national holidays within one week and many places are closed as many Japanese people use this time to visit family.
Visiting India
If you are thinking about visiting India there are a couple of things you may wish to consider. Try to avoid going from July – September as this is monsoon season. A trip from October to March would be better.
India celebrates Diwali which is a festival of lights celebrated by the putting up of lights and fireworks. The exact date changes yearly but is always around the end of October or early November. It is a very Beautiful festival and you may wish to plan your holiday so you can celebrate Diwali with the locals.
Visiting The United Arab Emirates
Dubai is a very popular holiday destination but if you are planning to visit the United Arab Emirates you should avoid May – October as temperatures do not dip below 30c during the day. March and April or November and December see temperatures cooler but still warm. Perfect if you are looking for somewhere warm during the winter.
You should avoid Visiting the United Arab Emirates during May and June time as this is a Muslim country and they follow Ramadan. This means that a lot of attractions have limited or altered opening times with some restaurants not opening until sundown.
Visiting Pakistan
If you are visiting Pakistan, the best weather occurs in summer between May and October. However, if you are visiting the north of Pakistan, such as Punjab, summer can be too hot and reach as high as 40c so you might want to consider a trip slightly later in October – January. However, if you are visiting the mountainous regions, going during the winter can result in high levels of snow.
Visiting Singapore
Singapore has wetter months from November – February and dryer months from May – July. However, with consistently warm temperatures all year round, you might want to consider going to any time.
Singapore celebrates their national day on 9th August. Lion day is celebrated with parades, festivals and fireworks. You may wish to plan your holiday to celebrate Lion day with the locals.
Singapore celebrates the Chinese new year and as a result, a lot of places close down for a few days during this time. Although the exact date changes each year, you may wish to avoid visiting during January and February to avoid this.
Visiting Thailand
Thailand is another popular holiday destination and the best time to go is March-May as the weather is dry and hot. It is best to avoid Thailand during September and October as the weather is at its wettest. However, after the wet season is over in November and December the weather is cooler and there are fewer crowds.
Thailand celebrates their new year on the 13th of April. This festival is a national holiday and involves celebrations including water fights in the street. These water fights are intended to wash away the bad luck of the previous year so you can start afresh.
